Why should one waste time……….

There are just very few days in my life that I haven’t been hit with the question “WHY ARE YOU WASTING YOUR PRECIOUS TIME!!!”...I don’t understand their logic, if they find it that precious, why are they wasting it asking, me, the stupid question...Often the concerned party would be my beloved lecturers…and the only channel I find them flowing their worthy seconds is to know the new gossip released in the staff block.
Time is a mere scale that man invented to keep a log of what happened and is happening. Mathematically speaking, one can’t waste a scale of measurement. For instance, think of a sentence like “Don’t waste your precious meters…”.It should actually sound that stupid in the case of seconds too….but unfortunately, it’s a very prudent thing to say these days.
I believe that, whatever one do, that deed should be timely. It doesn’t matter if one wasted a century to do that timely act. And it’s quite fine to waste time, if you are actually waiting for the right moment. But waiting is for boring people…for bored people, everything should happen swiftly, and so, I would like to contradict my own thought...There’s nothing like the “right moment”. It doesn’t matter whether you did it already, or you are doing it now, or tomorrow is the day for it, if you really put yourself into it, the universe will deliver on its own. Just do it some day or the other.
I believe you have heard of the thought “time and tide waits for none...” this is another stupid thing to say…who cares if time waits or it doesn’t…I’m more than glad to wait for time even if it doesn’t….one should have the patience to wait for something tagged that precious..And patience is a virtue…and as for the case of tides, it doesn’t make much of a difference if I miss a tide, it all looks the same, unless it’s a tsunami wave that you are expecting.
There are many refined techniques to waste time….blogging could be one, if you are not chicken scratching to get the right worm someday…And ofcourse, the best time to waste time is days before exams. Usually, a normal engineering student (might be applicable to other streams as well, haven’t researched so far)gets very creative, hours before exam. In such state of mind, wasting time is a brilliant thing to do. Coz, no matter what you do,it outputs creative results. You can’t definitely use the time to study, until seconds before exam…so it’s always better to waste it creatively.
High time I wind up this post….since you are kind enough to read to the last line, I hope you share at least some of my thoughts on wasting time. And I’m more than glad that I could successfully waste your time as well. Enjoy your stay here…
